Structure preserving hybrid Finite Volume approach for solving the compressible MHD equations

In this talk we present a structure preserving hybrid Finite-Volume approach for solving the compressible MHD equations in all Mach number regimes. The Finite Volume method can handle robustly the nonlinear advection while the structure preserving Finite Difference Method or Finite Element Method enable to preserve exactly div B=0 and the symmetry of the system.
