HOW TO GET TO CANNE

Whether you arrive by ground or by air, Cannes is an easily accessible destination. Find all the details to join Cannes and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.


By car:

Cannes is connected to all the major cities in France and Europe by the road network. The city is served by the A8 motorway "La Provençale" from Aix-en-Provence by the West and Italy by the East (exit No.42 Cannes La Bocca or Mougins/Cannes). From Grenoble, by the national road 85, so-called "route Napoleon", you can recount the history of the Emperor from his return of the Elba Island.

Access possible: A8 Cannes/Antibes/Cannes la Bocca exit

From Paris: head towards Lyon (A6 motorway), then take the direction for Marseilles (A7) motorway, and then for Nice (A8 motorway) – Exit 40 for Cannes.

From Marseilles (A7 motorway), then take the direction for Aix en Provence, Nice (A8 motorway) – Exit 40 for Cannes.

By train:

The city of Cannes has great TGV, Corail and express train links between all the French regions and major European cities. By plane:

The city of Cannes is served by two airports.

Located less than 30 km from Cannes, the International Côte d’Azur Airport connects 90 destinations by direct flights and welcomes around fifty airline companies.

The second French airport in business aviation after Paris-Le Bourget is the airport of Cannes-Mandelieu. It is a privileged tool joining Cannes with the large European cities. Located between the Esterel Mountain and the bay of Cannes, 15 minutes from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, it offers an exceptional entrance door to the city and its region. Taxis and rental cars are available at the airport to reach the Palais.


By bus from the airport:

Shuttle buses run from the Nice airport to Cannes in about 45 minutes (highway trip): Departure from the airport at 8:00 am and 9:00 am, and then every half hour until 7:00 pm and then at 8:00 pm - (Coast trip) at 8:45 pm and 9:55 pm Lines 110 & 210.
