We perform under resolved DNS simulations of NACA0012 airfoil using high order discontiuous Galerkin spectral element solver at moderate Reynolds numbers, at the order of 0.1M , and 0◦ angle of attack. The aim is to asses the influence of the mesh, in terms of polynomial order, on the far field noise. We address this for classic models of computational aeroacoustic: direct numerical computation (DNC) and hybrid models.
