We present stability properties for Stokes-like virtual element functions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first attempt to derive such stability estimates. Based on them, we show novel interpolation results by means of Stokes-like virtual element functions. The techniques we employ are novel and can be extended to several other settings as well.
