Multi-physical and multi-scale problems are ubiquitous across the sciences. As a subject area, fluid dynamics is often a fundamental aspect of such problems and therefore fluid dynamics solutions find themselves as the basis of new coupled approaches. This work will present a general purpose coupling library called the Multiscale Universal Interface (MUI), available as open source software.
