In this work, a high order DG method is designed to solve fourth order systems with boundary conditions u = du/dn = 0, first in the simplified case of the biharmonic equation ∆²u = f in mixed formulation and then extended to the system of k − ε equations. The results obtained in this work with the k − ε model can then be used in future work to implement other turbulence models in which similar issues with boundary conditions arise, such as Reynolds stress models.
