An increasing global population and highly congested cities are motivating the industry, academia, and government to study and develop a new means of air transportation in the urban areas, consisting of highly automated flying vehicles, with hybrid or electric propulsion. The goal of this work is to present an overview of the high-fidelity computational research conducted over the past few years for NASA's UAM concept vehicles.
