MS4-09 - Immersed Boundary Methods for Solid-Liquid-Gas Interaction in Multiphase Flows

This session will focus on extension of traditional immersed boundary methods for solidfluid interaction to multiphase flows involving heat and chemical transfer between solidliquid- gas. Application of these methods arise in many practical engineering problems like flow boiling, carbon capture, etc. and present an opportunity for fundamental physics and high performance computing research. We will welcome talks that focus on either the algorithm or the performance and scalability aspects of such methods.
